Soul Whispers: Intuitive Paintings

Your soul sings silently though my heart

Caressing my ears and pouring from my pencil

In swirls of color across my canvas

These are one card intuitive readings turned to art. To create your custom intuitive painting I gather my supplies, ground and center myself, open myself up, draw a card and listen.

I add layer after layer of color and energy. I add the words. They are words just for you, like little heart poems. Along with the words on the painting, you will get a little note with a message from the Faeries and me.

These paintings are affirmations. They are created with the purpose of bringing positive energy to you and the place where you choose the hang them.

I work with watercolor pencils, water soluble crayons and acrylic paints to create each painting.

 

When it is all finished, I seal it with a protective sealer.

You can choose to have your painting matted or mounted on to a wrapped canvas. Wrapped canvases will have the sides painted and can be hung without framing.

How do I know what to make the portrait look like?

I really just go with the flow of energy and create what feels ‘right’. These portraits aren’t meant to be actual paintings of your physical self. They are my interpretation of the vibes I’m picking up during the painting session. My painting sessions are similar to a tarot or oracle card reading session. There is a message to be shared.

You can choose to have your painting done with your hair and eye color.

Why do you call them portraits if they don’t look like me?

Because they have faces in them. It may come out looking similar to you or someone you know.

How do I know you are painting this for me at the time I order?

This work is very important to me. It is a gift and a honor to be able to do it. To give it less than my best, to give you less than my best would be a disservice to the work, to you, to the universe and to me.

What if I don’t like the painting?

After I finish the painting I will email you pictures of it. If it doesn’t speak to you, then you can choose to have me paint another or get your money refunded.

 

How do you mount painting on the canvas?

I paint the face portion of each painting on watercolor paper and print the words out with my printer. I prepare a  canvas and use either a gel medium or archival quality glue to adhere the paper to the canvas. Then the entire piece is painted to become the finished piece.

What is a wrapped canvas?

These canvases have the canvas stretched and wrapped around the a wooden frame. Painted the edges allows you to hang them without needed to frame them. They are light weight and easy to hang.

You can choose to have the side painted in white, gray or black. I normally paint the sides black and will use black if no color is specified.

 

 

How much do they cost?

Prices start at $60.00 for a 9 x 12 matted painting on watercolor paper. Prices for the wrapped canvases Start at $70.00 for 10 x 14 and go up from there based on the finished size you choose.
